Where is N1 Estate located?
N1 Estate Family Farm is located along Naramata Road in Penticton, BC, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. Our private farm wedding venue is surrounded by orchards and vineyards and offers panoramic views of Okanagan Lake and Naramata Bench.
Is N1 Estate the right wedding venue for you?
N1 Estate is an intimate outdoor wedding venue in Penticton, BC, specializing in all-inclusive elopements and micro weddings. Our packages are designed for couples who want a beautiful, stress-free celebration without having to plan every detail themselves. Our experienced team takes care of many of the details so you can simply show up, relax and enjoy your wedding day.
How many guests can N1 Estate accommodate?
Our Elopement Package includes 10 attendees and can be upgraded to a maximum of 20, including the couple. Our Micro-Wedding Package includes 20 attendees and can be upgraded to a maximum of 28, including the couple. Custom Weddings accommodate up to 28 attendees. For Elopement Package and Micro-wedding package, additional guests are $50 per person. Our maximum venue capacity is 28 attendees.
What months does N1 Estate host weddings?
N1 Estate's wedding season runs from early June through mid-September, as that’s when Penticton and the Okanagan offer ideal conditions for outdoor weddings.
ELOPEMENTS & MICRO-WEDDINGS
What is the difference between an Elopement and a Micro Wedding at N1 Estate?
Our Elopements are intimate 3-hour events that include a ceremony followed by a relaxed cocktail-style celebration, while our Micro-weddings offer a 6-hour experience with a ceremony followed by a sit-down dinner reception. Both packages are designed to make planning your Okanagan wedding simple and stress-free.
Can we customize our wedding package?
Yes. While our packages are intentionally designed to take the stress out of planning every little detail, there are still plenty of ways to make your wedding feel personal. During the planning process, you can customize select details such as your colour palette, ceremony décor and cake flavour, and choose from a variety of optional upgrades.
Can we select our own vendors, such as the photographer, officiant or caterer?
We work with a carefully selected team of trusted Okanagan wedding professionals. If you have a preferred photography style or officiant preferences, we are happy to discuss available options before your booking. For Micro-weddings, you can select one of our trusted local catering partners. We can also recommend local shuttle services, hair and makeup artists, and other vendors as needed.
Can we have a private first look before our ceremony?
Yes. Our Orchard First Look is a popular $500 upgrade that provides 30 minutes of private orchard access with a photographer before your guests arrive. It is perfect for an intimate first look, couple portraits or even exchanging private vows before the ceremony.
PLANNING YOUR WEDDING
Can we tour N1 Estate before booking?
Yes. We offer limited number of private venue tours available by appointment for serious couples considering N1 Estate for their wedding. As N1 Estate is a private family farm, we do not allow unscheduled visits or walk-ins.
Can we visit the venue again while planning our wedding?
Our micro-wedding couples receive a complimentary, optional in-person planning tour before the wedding to review the layout, timeline and other important details. Please note there is a maximum of four attendees and additional venue visits are not permitted. The only exception to this is an optional 1-hour or 2-hour rehearsal upgrades.
Do you provide wedding planning and day-of coordination?
Yes. Our all-inclusive wedding packages include planning support leading up to your wedding as well as on-site day-of coordination. We work with our included vendors, help organize the details and timeline, and manage the flow of your celebration so you can enjoy your wedding day.
Do we need wedding insurance?
Yes. Couples are required to obtain event insurance with a minimum of $2 million in liability coverage for their wedding at N1 Estate. Proof of insurance must be provided before the event.
Do we need a Special Event Permit?
Yes, if alcohol will be served. Couples are responsible for obtaining the required BC Special Event Permit and providing a copy to N1 Estate before the wedding.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Your wedding will proceed rain or shine. If rain is forecast, we will install our large reception tent at no additional cost and provide clear umbrellas for added comfort. Because the tent requires several hours to install, the final decision is made days in advance and it cannot be added or removed on the wedding day. N1 Estate may also adjust décor or the venue setup when necessary for guest safety during rain, wind or other challenging weather conditions.
FOOD, BEVERAGES & VENUE DETAILS
Is catering included?
Catering is not included with our Micro-wedding package. Couples can select from our trusted local catering partners, allowing you to choose the menu and dining experience that best suits your celebration.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes. Couples may provide their own alcohol with the required Special Event Permit. Hard liquor must be served by a professional bartender, and all alcohol service must comply with BC liquor regulations and N1 Estate's venue policies.
Do we need to hire a bartender and serving staff?
A bartender is not required if alcohol is not being served, or if alcohol service is limited to champagne for the champagne tower and wine with dinner. If any additional alcohol is served, a professional bartender is required.

Serving staff are not required, but we strongly recommend having at least one server to improve the guest experience and assist with clearing dishes, keeping tables tidy and helping throughout the reception. We are always happy to help coordinate professional bartending and serving staff for your wedding.
Is there a bathroom at the venue?
Yes. N1 Estate has a private eco-friendly restroom available for couples and their guests throughout the wedding.
Is there parking at N1 Estate?
Yes, but on-site parking is limited to three guest vehicles. For larger groups, we strongly recommend arranging a shuttle or other transportation for your guests.
Can we take leftover food, cake or flowers home?
No. Due to health and safety requirements, all leftover food and cake must remain on-site and cannot be taken home by the couple or guests. All live flower arrangements must remain on site as well with the exception of the bridal bouquet. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
What type of footwear do you recommend?
N1 Estate is an outdoor farm wedding venue with grass and natural terrain, so we recommend comfortable footwear suitable for outdoor surfaces. Block heels, wedges or flats are generally easier to walk in than narrow stilettos.
Is smoking permitted at N1 Estate?
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property due to the farm setting and seasonal wildfire risk.
Are pets allowed at N1 Estate?
Yes! We know pets are part of the family and are happy to welcome one dog or cat to your wedding with prior written approval. Your pet must remain on a leash and be supervised at all times, and a maximum of one pet is permitted per event.
BOOKING N1 ESTATE
How do we check if our wedding date is available?
Simply contact us with your preferred wedding date or date range and the package you are interested in. We will confirm availability and answer any questions you may have before booking.
What is required to secure our wedding date?
A signed wedding agreement and a non-refundable 50% booking deposit are required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your wedding.
What is N1 Estate's cancellation policy?
All wedding deposits are non-refundable. We understand that plans can change, so couples may request one date change with at least three months' notice, subject to availability, a $250 administration fee and any applicable vendor fees. Full cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in your wedding agreement.
Is a refundable damage deposit required?
Yes. A $500 refundable damage deposit for Elopements Packages and $1,000 refundable damage deposit for Micro-wedding Packages are required before the wedding. Provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning or other applicable charges, the deposit is refunded within five days after the event.
DESTINATION WEDDINGS / VISITING PENTICTON & NARAMATA BENCH
Is N1 Estate a good option for an Okanagan destination wedding?
Yes. N1 Estate is especially well suited to intimate destination weddings because our all-inclusive packages take care of many of the details for you. This makes planning an Okanagan wedding much easier for couples travelling from Vancouver, elsewhere in BC, Alberta or beyond.
Where can our wedding guests stay in Penticton?
Penticton and the Naramata Bench offer a wide range of hotels, resorts, vacation rentals and boutique accommodations. We are happy to provide recommendations for places to stay near N1 Estate.
How far is N1 Estate from downtown Penticton?
N1 Estate is located at 2052 Naramata Road, approximately a 10-minute drive from downtown Penticton, making it convenient for couples and guests staying in the city.
How far is N1 Estate from Kelowna?
N1 Estate is approximately a one-hour drive from Kelowna and Kelowna International Airport, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Do you recommend transportation or shuttle services for wedding guests?
Yes. Because on-site parking is limited, we strongly recommend arranging a shuttle or other transportation for your guests. We can provide recommendations for local Penticton and Okanagan transportation providers familiar with the area.
