Frequently Asked Questions

I would like to have more guests than listed in my selected elopement package. Is this possible?

Depending on the package, you may be able to invite additional guests. Our Signature Elopement Package allows up to 10 attendees, with an extra fee of $50 per person for any guests beyond the included number. The Micro Wedding Package allows up to 28 attendees.. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer additional attendees for the Micro Wedding Packages.

Do I need to obtain event insurance and a liquor license?

Yes, as the event hosts, couples are required to obtain event liability insurance. This can be arranged through your local insurance provider or easily purchased online through companies like WeddinGuard / PAL Insurance or Duuo.

If you plan to serve alcohol at your wedding, you’ll also need to apply for a Special Event Permit through the BC Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch.

Copies of both the insurance certificate and liquor permit must be submitted to your N1 Estate representative prior to your wedding day.

Do you have a bathroom facility on site?

Yes, we do. Embracing eco-conscious practices, we feature a composting toilet facility that prioritizes sustainability without compromising comfort. Rest assured, our facilities are far from the typical porta potty experience - we elevate every aspect to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.

Is there parking available?

Our parking is limited, with space available for up to two (2) guest vehicles. To optimize parking availability, we encourage you and your guests to carpool. If you're arranging shuttle services, we can accommodate shuttle drop-offs and pick-ups on-site for your convenience.

Can we take home leftover food, cake, or flowers after the event?

Due to health and safety regulations, any leftover food, cake, or flower arrangements must remain on-site and cannot be taken home by guests or the couple. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Are high heels / stilettos permitted?

We strongly advise against wearing high heels / stilettos due to the natural terrain of the property. For your comfort and safety, we recommend opting for flat shoes or wedge heels instead.

Can my dog attend the wedding?

Absolutely! We understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and we're happy to welcome your dog to your wedding. To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, we ask that your pet remains on a leash at all times while on the venue grounds. Please note that only one (1) dog is permitted per event. Additionally, pets are only allowed with prior written approval from the venue, so please be sure to arrange this before your big day.

Is this an operational farm?

Yes, we are an operational farm. Our priority lies in the meticulous care of our cherry orchard and maintaining our greenhouses where we cultivate our vegetables. Nestled amidst other beautiful orchards and vineyards, our surroundings provide a serene backdrop for your event. While occasional farming activities may generate noise beyond our control, rest assured that the overall atmosphere remains peaceful allowing you to enjoy the scenic views of Okanagan Lake in a relaxing ambiance.

What is accessibility like?

Our property features a sloped terrain and accessing The Garden requires guests to ascend approximately 100 feet of sloped stairs. For guests who require assistance or are unable to navigate stairs, we're happy to make prior arrangements to ensure alternative access route to The Garden is available.

Can my guests and I access the rest of the property?

As an operational farm, we kindly request that you and your guests remain within the area of  The Garden and refrain from exploring other areas of our farm.

Is there a damage deposit required?
